You don't know how many times I've been having a bad day and someone would give me a comment on my work and it totally turned my mood around.

When someone tells me (not so much on here but on other places) that "they normally don't like poetry but I like reading your work" or that I've "inspired" them to write, that is the biggest compliment someone can give me. And often times, when I read those comments (as my mom can testify to) I'm on cloud nine.

So, I would encourage people to comment on things. You don't have to lie and tell them you like it if you don't (lol, don't be mean either though) but I value all my comments even criticism.

So, next time you read something you like, take two seconds to tell someone that. You never know who's day you might make. =]
